Born in Hilversum, Holland to an English mother and a Dutch father, P.J. Lowe fell in love with Agatha Christie at a young age after reading some of the paperback novels her mother read voraciously. From those early days she always daydreamed about one day becoming a writer. It was only when she found herself working from home during the pandemic that she finally had a chance to pursue that dream and began writing in earnest.
